This week has been a tiring one. Prior to this week, I worked 7 days straight, and then I get time off work…what do you know? I’m still working. The life of a freelancer! It’s actually no different to university life, when I stop and think about it. I guess you could say I’m on a bit of a buzz – Every time I say the word “bit” I think of Kem from Love Island… Man I miss that show!
I’ve been preparing for an event coming up VERY soon. On Monday and Tuesday I bought materials to get started and haven’t stopped since then. Of course, I did take Thursday off. Hashtag Graduate! However, I came straight back to “Right. I need to get this done, so back to reality.” Don’t get me wrong, I am really enjoying this project. It’s my first freelance project after university and whilst it’s really weird to know it won’t be graded, it gets me really excited. I’m definitely pouring my heart and energy into this one, as I guess it’s the stepping stone for my future. It’s like that saying, “Start as you mean to go on.” I’m really excited to share this with you guys. Keep your eyes peeled on Sunday 6th August!
I’ve also been preparing for another project happening very shortly after. This one is also exciting as there’s a little surprise, so make sure you are subscribed to my blog and following me on Instagram as you won’t want to miss this…unless it isn’t to your taste… I’ll leave that last line there for you to guess what my next project includes.
As an aside, I’m genuinely happy to be back to blogging. I didn’t think I’d miss it, in all honesty. I guess, because I now know why I’m blogging, and what I want to share with my readers, I feel a sense of warmth whenever I write. I can’t wait to get back into the blogging community.
Actually, that’s a good thought to end the post on: Why do you blog? What is it about blogging that makes your happy? I can proudly say, I blog to share my work with the world in more depth, and to keep myself in check! haha! It’s almost like having a personal tutor checking on you every now and then, to make sure you’re actually doing the work!
